Karjat is a quaint town, just a 90min drive from Mumbai, and it gets all green and beautiful during the rains.
And one place that you can stay in and soak in the beauty of nature, is Oleander Farms Luxury Resort.
The resort is spread over vast acres of green land, with trees and flowers planted everywhere. The tastefully decorated luxurious rooms are placed in one corner, and it feels relaxing to just walk around the property. There’s a pool at one end, then there’s the cafe, vintage wineshop, and their 2 restaurants- Common House and Saltt, of which, Saltt restaurant is very popular and busy all the time.
There’s a quiet lake at another end of the farms, they take you by car from the reception. They also have an inhouse nursery.
We had lunch at 1 restaurant, dinner at Saltt and tea at the cafe, I can say, the food is to die for. The breakfast spread was huge as well.
Oleander farms is the calm and serene resort you could peacefully unwind at. I am glad we visited during the rains, the lush greenery fills your heart.
The service is quick and the staff is extremely courteous. It’s pet friendly as well.
Fine wine and fine dine, it’s a must visit.
