I was indeed honoured when #AnirbanBhattacharyya Ji posted a comment on my review of #sector36 and this book of his, The Deadly Dozen, is simply Unputdownable.
12 Mind-numbing Serial Killer stories, which are True Accounts of some gruesome murderers who actually existed and pulled off their sheer madness. So much so, that their acts could shake your very belief in humanity.
Anirban Ji’s writing shows his journalistic skills, and the amount of research that has gone behind investigating every incident. Each story has been described with the minutest detail, including the dates, victim numbers, encounters with the police, even the conversations. In a thrilling fashion that arouses your curiosity.
The language is crisp and professional, with some sprinklings of local languages as well. As you dig in deeper into the stories, you could create a mental image, as if they are playing out right before your eyes.
Dahaad, Raman Raghavan, Posham Pa, Sector 36, Stoneman Murders, Barrot House, all of them are based on the incidents in this book.
The Deadly Dozen is a fast paced and engaging read, Detailed yet Taut.
A Must Read Crime Investigation.
