A dark horror thriller, breathtaking locales and references to militancy and stone pelting, Baramulla is a decent clean watch.

The story begins with the disappearance of many young school going children, under mysterious circumstances. The kids involved were from the same school and being lured into militancy.

But what could explain the lack of any sort of evidence, except for a few strands of hair? Why are shadows lurking in the bungalow where the protagonist, Inspector Sayyed (Manav Kaul) resides with his family? Are the shadows helping the kidnapper?

There’s a perfect amount of eerie bgm, fear instilling graphics and mystery thrown in
to arouse your curiosity. Baramulla keeps you at the edge of your seats, and the performances are all good. Especially the child artists.

Kashmiri vibes, a good story, and of course, class (no cussing, adult content or too much gore), Baramulla could definitely be a one time watch.
